Upon graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, Rick has enjoyed years of wide-ranging and highly salient legal experience across the country on behalf of some of world’s largest companies, and by way of some of the nation’s largest and most prominent firms. Most notably, Rick was a member of the litigation team serving as national counsel for The Dow Chemical Company, and its subsidiary Union Carbide Corporation, in ongoing complex civil litigation. Additionally, Rick served as a Special Litigations Manger with The Dow Chemical Company at its world headquarters in Michigan, where he directly handled a heavy litigation docket and a myriad of transactional projects, while overseeing a large team of local and regional counsel throughout the Pacific and Western United States.

In addition to spending time with his family, Rick enjoys watching his Michigan Wolverines and in engaging in a variety of outdoor sporting activities. Rick’s passions also include the pursuit of his theological studies, philosophical discourse, and music, which includes over thirty-years of playing the guitar in a variety of styles.
